Brooklyn Beckham has officially tied the knot with heiress Nicola Peltz. The billionaire family of Beckham’s wife picked up the tab for the couple’s lavish $3.5million wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, this weekend.
The 300 guests enjoyed an endless flow of Bollinger champagne, costing $260 a bottle, and cordon bleu catering enjoyed at tables adorned with $65,000 worth of rare orchids—for guests who don’t drink but still wish to indulge in a lap of luxury.
The event also featured hundreds of dollars worth of white hydrangeas and green cymbidiums, bought from Flowers of Worth Avenue — one of the bride's favorite florists.
Money’s no object for the Beckhams and the Peltzes even more so. The orchids and most of the other flowers are thought to have been ordered in from another area,” sources told The Sun. They further explained, “it was really sweet of Nicola to think of Flowers of Worth Avenue.”
Tennis legend Serena Williams, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, singer Mel B, and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria were among the famous faces present when Beckham tied the knot with Nicola.
Posh and Becks didn’t have to pay a penny, thanks to the father of the bride Nelson Peltz. He was able to finance the entire ceremony with his $1.7 billion estate. The Peltz family's fortune dwarfs the Beckham family's $500 million treasure chest. And to top it off, the Peltz family hosted the whole shindig at their $103 million ocean-side family estate.
That’s not to say they couldn’t afford to. David Beckham makes millions from his brand endorsements, and Victoria has always been the richest Spice Girl thanks to her popular fashion label with her namesake, worth about $140 million.
The Peltz family patriarch is a 79-year-old businessman and the 432nd richest person in the United States. He is the non-executive chairman of famous fast-food franchise Wendys and founding partner of Trian Fund Management together with Peter W. May and Edward P. Garden.
The couple began dating in October 2019 and Brooklyn proposed with a $450,000 diamond ring in July 2020. Reports suggest that the couple has signed a prenuptial agreement, as lawyers advise many wealthy couples to do, should their marriage end in divorce.
